Nigeria: Dangote Refinery Eyes Global Jet Fuel Role

Nigeria’s 650,000 barrel-per-day Dangote refinery has a large surplus of jet fuel and can supply global markets, CEO David Bird said. The refinery is running at nameplate capacity and is planning a project to double capacity by adding 700,000 barrels per day of complex refining capacity by the end of 2028. Dangote’s scale could shift Nigeria from fuel import dependence toward regional and global refining influence.
