He leads the publication’s editorial direction, with a focus on producing clear, informed, and credible analysis of the forces shaping the region. His work centres on political risk, regional dynamics, and the broader structures influencing African affairs.
William Lamine
William Lamine
William Lamine is a contributor to Future Reports with a focus on law, healthcare, technology investment, and sovereign debt. He is a postgraduate law student training to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales, with legal experience across Paris, London, Accra, and Ouagadougou. He holds an LLB from the University of Southampton and a Double LLM in International Business Law from Queen Mary University of London and French and European Law from the Sorbonne. His work and interests centre on international law, investment, and shaping economic development.

Akinmade Afikuyomi is a contributor to Future Reports with a focus on law, energy, arbitration, and regulatory affairs. He is a qualified lawyer in Nigeria and is currently working towards qualification as a solicitor in the United Kingdom. He holds a law degree from the University of Newcastle and has gained legal experience at Wole Olanipekun & Co in Lagos and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission. His interests centre on oil and gas regulation, dispute resolution, legal reform, and the institutions shaping Nigeria’s energy sector.

Christian Chibueze Onwuchelu is a contributor to Future Reports with a focus on dispute resolution, competition law, and technology. He is a Legal Associate at ASK Law Partners and holds a First Class LL.B from Baze University, alongside his Barrister-at-Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School. He has gained international legal experience with the Office of the Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, as well as litigation experience in Abuja. His interests centre on arbitration, competition, technology regulation, public-interest law, and the legal structures shaping Africa.

Gregory Emeka Ilukwe is a contributor to Future Reports focusing on financial inclusion, digital public infrastructure, digital financial services, and sustainable development. He is an Assistant Manager in Inclusive Financial Ecosystems at MicroSave Consulting, with experience across Sub-Saharan Africa on projects involving digital transformation, public finance, agri-food systems, and inclusive economic development. His interests centre on digital economies, inclusive finance, and the systems shaping Africa’s development future.
